Welcome to our sweet boys nursery!

I have to give credit where credit is due here – I am by no means responsible for how amazing this space turned out. For me, creating a room from scratch is extremely overwhelming. I know what I want and can vision it, but making it happen is hard. When Haley Manning reached out to me to design the nursery it was a no brainer! Haley works with clients remote from San Antonio on designing any room in your home. Here’s what the process looked like for me.

            

STEP 1 – The Vision + Budget + Dimensions

I sent Haley 5-10 nurseries that inspired me via Instagram and Pinterest, a budget that I would like to stick to, and the dimensions of the room. All of this went down via email.

A few weeks later Haley sent me 3 nursery concepts, all formatted like the one below (the one that I liked the most although they were all spot on). She also sent me accessories for the bookshelf (truly amazing) and a floor plan for the furniture.

 

Step 2: Order Furniture

After we finalized the room design she provided all links to me for furniture, accessories, etc. For some of the the larger items she provided multiple options at different price points which was awesome.

I started setting everything up one by one using the floor plan she had mocked up for me (photo above) as the furniture came in.

             

 Step 3: Details + Accessorize + Communicate

After getting the bigger stuff in it was time to accessorize. I know you’re probably wondering how much of the the details Haley picked out – EVERYTHING. Every. Single. Thing. She would’ve totally incorporated anything I wanted her to but to be honest, I wanted her to do it all. haha.

So as far as the smaller details, like the bookshelf accessories, she told me what to get and where to put it. Styling shelves is super overwhelming to me so this was awesome. We sent photos back and forth until it was perfect.
